Two things that everyone has been asking me to do:
1. Get a Facebook profile picture
2. Accept follower requests on Twitter.
Maybe soon,
but not just yet.

Day 1 of Hong Kong.
We stayed at Cosmo Mongkok for the first night.
Later we moved on to New Town Mall,
What's supper in Hong Kong without some JiDanZai and Curry Fishballs??
(:
Took the morning flight and arrived at Hong Kong at about 11am.
If your eyes are sharp enough, you can see that we boarded the 6.40am flight (: |

We stayed at Cosmo Mongkok for the first night.
The room was rather tiny but cosy enough for eight of us to fit inside.
Cosmo Mongkok |
Our first meal was at He Choi Restaurant,
The dim sum wasn’t very fantastic but cheap,
so you don’t have to try it if you ever visit HongKong.
Our first shopping destination was to Langham Place.
Needless to say, we all had some buys from H&M.
Later we moved on to New Town Mall,
somewhere near Langham Place as well.
You need to bargain at this mall otherwise they’d scam you.
Clothes cost around 50-80HKD, which also isn’t very cheap in
my opinion.
Oh we went to Ladies' Market too, but they don't really sell a lot of things.
Chapalang things in my opinion.
We had dinner at a local eatery later that night, of which I
can’t remember the name.
It was rather cute meal because eight of us shared two bowls
of clay pot rice, a bowl of macaroni and a bowl of beef brisket noodles.
We really looked like scavengers,
but it was one of the more memorable meals on the trip.
Desserts at Hui Lau Shan after.
Salad and I shared a mango sago which was pretty decent,
If my memory served me well, it cost about 40HKD a bowl.
They were really generous with their sagos and mangos.
I guess that’s why it’s one of the more popular dessert
restaurants in HongKong.

Following would be a series of post from my recent Hong Kong trip,
Last but not least would be: Tin Ho Wan’s Char Siew Boluo
Buns.
as promised.
(:
First up would be a post on my Top 3 favourite food of the trip.
(In no order of preference since all three were too good)
First up would be: Australia Dairy Company’s Scramble Eggs.
They were so good that we went back twice to get them.
I don’t know what they put inside their eggs,
but they sure tasted like heaven.
It's 26HKD (4.50S$) for a breakfast set that consisted of a bowl of macaroni with ham,
scrambled eggs and toast and a milk tea,
super cheap.
Australian Dairy Company's Scrambled Eggs |
Next up would be: Tai Cheong Bakery’s Egg tarts.
The texture of the pastry was too good,
and the egg was just right.
Though I would say it’s best eaten fresh with the Soya Bean
milk they serve there.
Nevertheless, it was so good that we brought back 60 egg tarts altogether.
It’s 5HKD (0.85S$) an egg tart and 5HKD for a
bottle of soya milk,
which in my opinion, is damn cheap as well.
Tai Cheong Bakery's Eggtarts |
These was amazingly good,
And could very well be the best dish of the entire trip.
I don't even have the range of vocabulary to describe how good they were.
Initially we ordered only one tray but it was so good that
we ordered two more.
Brought back six buns to Singapore and the brother said it
was damn good even after two days.
So yes, that was how yummy the buns were.
It’s 12HKD (2S$) for a set of three buns.

Bible study tonight was really good.
I really love God's People but it's sad to know that half the group would be going overseas to pursue their studies within the next two years.
):
Supper with Yiling and Yaanmeng at Havelock Bak Kut Teh after,
I cannot believe you're leaving me in less than two months time, Yiling.

All my friends seem to be leaving me one by one.
But it's for their greater good and I must be happy for them.

The Dark Knight Rises was so good that I caught it twice over the week.
(:
The last I could remember was God's People's retreat on Sunday and BBQ with the HK people at Jacq's on Monday.
I've have been extremely lazy and listless of late that I don't even have to energy to blog.
Need to remove this "sian demon" in me pronto.
Something is wrong with my life but I don't know what's it.
Hmm...

That the eyes that see my sin,
would look on me with love,
and watch me rise again;
I'm feeling extremely happy and blessed right now.
Don't ask me why.
But nothing,
absolutely nothing,
beats having the peace of God and being able to rest assured in Him.

Greetings from HongKong!!
I'm running on adrenalin because I had the least sleep in the longest time.
Still surviving though.
Took a morning flight,
dim sum for lunch,
some shopping at H&M,
more shopping at Langham Place,
dinner at your usual HongKong cafeteria,
where we all looked like scavengers because eight of us shared five ala carte orders.
Walk down Ladies' Market and got some JiDanZai and Curry Fishballs.
And finally back to the hotel for a short workout in the gym.
And I'm feeling very accomplished today.
Goodnight world (:
